Policy regarding corruption within public bodies (655.2016-17)

Posted on

Request:

A couple more weeks have passed and there is still no statement from North Yorkshire Police whether an investigation is either underway, a complaint has been received from the council or that no complaint has been made by the council.

The judgement from the Employment Tribunal is now online and can be read this URL. http://nyenquirer.uk/the-judgment/

Clearly, the allegations of corruption have not been investigated by the council and judge says the council has whitewashed them.

Could you also provide me with NYP’s policy regarding allegations of corruption within public bodies? I specifically want to know if NYP only opens an investigation when a complaint is received from the local authority concerned.
