Q1. For the following years: 2024, 2023, 2022 how many weapons were seized by North Yorkshire police in total, regardless of method (whether they were as a result of a search, or were handed in) 

Q2. How many of the weapons seized in 2024, 2023 and 2022 were knives?

Q3. How many of those knives, in each year, were taken from suspects aged 18 or younger? 

Q4. Were any of those knives seized from the premises of a place of education - for example a school, or college/university campus? If so - how many in 2024, 2023 and 2022? 

Q5. How many incidents involving weapons have North Yorkshire been called to at schools in the years 2024, 2023 and 2022?

Q2. Please see the below table showing the number of weapons seized which were categorised as ‘Knives/Daggers/Broken Bottles’ in the period 1 January 2022 to 31 December 2024, broken down by calendar year.

Q3. Please see the below table showing the number of knives/daggers/broken bottles seized from persons aged 18 and under in the period 1 January 2022 to 31 December 2024, broken down by calendar year.

Q4. Please see the below table showing the number of knives/daggers/broken bottles seized in a place of education (where recorded) in the period 1 January 2022 to 31 December 2024, broken down by calendar year.

Q5. Please see the below table showing the number of incidents attended by police involving weapons in schools in the period in the period 1 January 2022 to 31 December 2024, broken down by calendar year.
