I apologise for asking this question but in the current climate I believe that it is one that has to be asked. It relates to the funeral of PC Rosie Prior and there is no intent to diminish the sacrifice and suffering that is being suffered.

Q1. How much did the Police involvement in the funeral cost?

Q2. Were officers being paid (either pay or time in lieu)? By this I do not mean to include those officers who might ordinarily be required to supervise a large funeral. 

Q3. Which budget paid?

To locate the information relevant to your request searches were conducted within North Yorkshire Police.

I can confirm that the information you have requested is held by North Yorkshire Police. 

Decision
I have today decided to disclose the following information to you.

Q1. The total spend for the funeral to date is £5598.12.

Q2. Police Regs and Staff Terms and Conditions were adhered to.

Q3. The cost is spread against multiple budgets throughout the force, so was not paid by one specific budget.
