Extent and Result of Searches to Locate Information
To locate the information relevant to your request searches were conducted within North Yorkshire Police.
I can confirm that the information you have requested is held by North Yorkshire Police.
Decision
I have today decided to disclose the following information to you.
Q1. North Yorkshire Police have participated in 41 exercises in the period 1 May 2022 to 30 April 2025.
Q2. A mix of techniques are used at each exercise. A proportion/percentages is not held.
Q3. Multi Agency Exercises are all debriefed and any learning, recommendations or identified good practice is noted and shared with single agencies for cascade. Where applicable recommendations are actioned. All plans exercised are reviewed for effectiveness and amended if applicable.
Q4. All multi agency exercises involve Category 1. Category 2 responders and other relevant organisations will be involved relevant to the exercise.
Q5. All objectives are discussed and shared prior to exercise. Agencies feed their own organisations aims and objectives in. They are collated prior to exercise and distributed by way of pre exercise documentation, ran through on the day also at the end of exercise to ensure that they are achieved.
