Equipment carried by Firearms Officers is constantly under review based on the latest medical advice and operational learning. I can confirm that kits currently consist of the following:

2 x Tuff cut shears

4 x CAT tourniquest

5 x Steripods

1 x Medical tape

1 x Triangular bandage

2 x Crepe bandages

1 x SAM splint

1 x Pelvix binder

1 x Burns face dressing

1 x Medical cling film

2 x Emergency blanket

1 x Oxygen Cylinder

1 x Adult non-rebreather mask

2 x Needle chest decompression kits

We are currently reviewing our Airway management kits, as we are looking to include paediatric airway management.

Currently we have various sizes of OP’s, NP’s Thomas tubes, Thomas tube holders etc, non-rebreather masks.
