Q1. Please detail how Operiation Soteria Bluestone is being implemented internally in relation to training and progression [in investigating adult rape].

Extent and Result of Searches to Locate Information
To locate the information relevant to your request searches were conducted within North Yorkshire Police.

I can confirm that the information you have requested is held by North Yorkshire Police. 

Decision
I have today decided to disclose the following information to you.

Q1. Op Soteria is an ongoing programme of transformational change. It relates to all sexual offences and is not age or gender specific.

The below training events are either College of Policing mandated and/or Op Soteria mandated:                                                                                       

Rape and Serious Sexual Offences First Responder (RASSO FR)

Specialist Sexual Abuse Investigators Development Programme (SSAIDP V2)

Sexual Offences Liaison Officer (SOLO)
National Operating Model Continued Professional Development (NOM CPD).

Another area of training is trauma informed training/awareness which is for the target audience of Pip 2 Detectives and SOLO Officers. This not mandated as part of Op Soteria but created in force as part of the transformational plan.
