Under Freedom of Information, I am seeking the following data recorded by North Yorkshire Police for the years 2023 and 2024:

Q1The number of arrests of people aged 10-17 for offences involving a knife or sharp instrument?
-  of those aged 10-17 who were arrested, how many were male?
Q2. The number of people aged 10-17 charged with an offence involving a knife or sharp instrument?
-  of those aged 10-17 who were charged, how many were male?

Q3. The number of people aged 10-17 who were arrested for a drug offence?
-  of those aged 10-17 who were arrested, how many were male?
- The number of people aged 10-17 who were charged with drug offences?

I have today decided to disclose the following information to you.

Q1. Between 01 January 2023 and 31 December 2024 there have been 63 arrests where the offender has been aged 10-17 at the time of the arrest.

Q1a.  Of those arrests above, 61 were male.

Q2. Between 01 January 2023 and 31 December 2024 there has been 1 charge where the offender has been aged 10-17 at the time of the arrest.

Q2a. Of those charged above, 1 was male.
