Q1. How many RASSO offences were NFA'd by your police force between 2023-2025? Clarification: Please could you provide the response in relation to rape offences ; if possible also sexual assault, however if for processing the request one category is necessary then please respond in relation to rape offences.

Decision
I have today decided to disclose the following information to you.

Q1. There are 1363 Rape or Sexual Assault offences with a ‘No Further Action’ disposal applied in the period 1 January 2023 to 5 June 2025.

Please note that this data also includes attempt, conspire to and aid/abet offences.

The date parameters are based on the disposal date and both arrest and voluntary attendance (VA) records are included in the data.

The data represents the number of offences with a No Further Action outcome, so an individual may be counted multiple times.

Please note that systems used for recording information are not generic, nor are the procedures used locally in capturing the data.  It should be noted therefore that this force’s response to your questions should not be used for comparison purposes with any other responses you may receive.
