I am writing in reference to FOI requests made by myself on the 23/02/2026 - I am being told by many forces that CAWN's have only been recorded centrally on forces CMS since the beginning of 2018.

Please take this email to alter all previous requests for CAWN information to start from 01/01/2018 to date.

Q1. I require the number of notices issued by your force within the following remit!
The new name for these notices are
Child Abduction Warning Notices
But could also be referred to as -
Harbourers Warning Notices OR
Paedophile ASBO's.
Can you please tell me How many of these notices were issued during the following period's
01/2008 - 12/2009
01/2010 - 12/2011

01/2012 - 12/2013

01/2014 - 12/2015

01/2016 - 12/2017

01/2018 - 12/2019

01/2020 - 12/2021

01/2022 - 12/2023

01/2024 – Date

Response: 

Under Section 5 of the Freedom of Information and Data Protection (Appropriate Limit and Fees) Regulations 2004, requests can be aggregated where (a) the two or more requests by one person relate, to any extent, to the same or similar information, and (b) those requests received by the public authority within any period of sixty consecutive working days.

As such, your requests made on 23 February 2026 1203.2025-26, 1204.2025-26, 1205.2025-26, 1206.2025-26 and 1207.2025-26 have been aggregated into one response.
