Selby is the smallest and southern most district in North Yorkshire. Bordering South Yorkshire, West Yorkshire and Humberside, it has a mixed economy with some heavy industry and former mining communities.
Selby itself, a bustling market town with a population amounting to a quarter of the whole district.
The central feature of Selby is an 11th Century Selby Abbey, birth place of Henry I.
The Selby Neighbourhood Policing team are determined to support those who are vulnerable and identify ways to reduce the risk of harm.
Working alongside Selby District Council and partners in health, housing, social care and many others we support to needs of the community.
Please note opening times may be subject to change at short notice according to operational requirements as our front counters at Sherburn In Elmet and Eggborough are staffed by volunteers, who endeavour to support you by remaining open as frequently as possible, in line with the times shown.
