14 year-old arrested following assault on woman on Filey’s Queen Street

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses after a 19 year-old woman was assaulted in Filey.

It happened on Queen Street at around 9.50pm on Tuesday 11 August 2020.

A 14 year-old girl was arrested shortly after on suspicion of assault and has been released under investigation whilst enquiries continue.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to the incident or to anyone who may have seen anyone in the area at the time leading up to it.

In particular, they would like to hear from any members of the public who are believed to have intervened.
