Statement: Cordon no longer in place on Micklegate, York

A cordon was put in place along Micklegate, York this afternoon at the request of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) after an item, believed to be suspicious was received at a property on the road. The cordon was lifted just before 2pm on Friday, 22 March.
