A member of the public contacted police at 4.30pm Saturday 6 April 2019 to report a sighting of a body in the water. Police, Fire and Rescue services and the Yorkshire and Humberside Underwater Search Unit are currently working together to recover the body from the water. At about 5.20pm on Monday 1 April 2019, two people wearing balaclavas entered the store on East Lane and brandished a knife. Appeal after pregnant sheep shot and killed

It happened between 10pm on Monday 1 April 2019 and around 10am the following day. The sheep was in a field with the rest of its flock near to an area known as Acraplatts.
