5 things you should always do before you drive in snow or ice

Posted on in Blogs, News stories

Heading out in the snow today? Here are five things you should always do before you set off to drive in snow or ice.

Make sure your windscreen is cleared inside and out.

Clear snow from the roof as it can slide onto the windscreen and block your vision or fall into the path of oncoming traffic.

Clean your lights, front and back, and check that they are working.

Check your fuel levels and make sure you have enough to keep you going in case of unexpected delays.

Lastly, allow extra time for your journey and where possible try to keep to major roads.
