A170 collision witness appeal

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a collision which occurred on the A170 between Kirkbymoorside and Pickering.


It happened on A170 at about 6.30pm on Monday 19 June 2017 and involved a motorcycle, which was within a group of three motorcycles, which collided with a car heading in the opposite direction.

The motorcyclist suffered a serious foot injury and were taken by ambulance to Scarborough Hospital where they were treated and discharged following treatment.

We are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public’s assistance to help determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
