Appeal after £5,000 worth of clothing stolen from Settle shop

Police are asking for help from the public following the theft around £5,000 worth of clothing and footwear from a shop on Settle Industrial Estate.

It happened overnight between 5.15pm on Monday 25 November 2019 and 8.30am the following morning.

Officers are asking members of the public to be vigilant and to look out for and call the police if they are offered any of the items for sale or notice anyone suddenly come into possession of simialr items.

Enquiries are on-going to identify and locate those responsible however as the clothing and footwear is distinguishable, especially if found bundled together, officers have published a list of the stolen items.

Leading up to the Christmas period there may be an effort for the suspects to try and sell them and unsuspecting members of the public may be implicated if they purchase these items.
