Appeal after fail-to-stop collision in Northallerton

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for information after a woman was hit by a vehicle on South Parade

The incident happened around 4.20pm on Monday 25 November 2019 when a 65 year-old woman was crossing the road from the direction of MW Darwin & Sons on South Parade, Northallerton, towards Shine Hair and Beauty on Thirsk Road.

The woman was struck on her right side by a vehicle, causing her to fall onto the ground and the vehicle is then believed to have left the scene towards East Road. The woman sustained minor injuries and attended the Friarage Hospital for treatment.

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for information, anyone who may have witnessed the assault or any CCTV from local premises to help us establish the full circumstances of this incident.
