Appeal after man suffers broken jaw in York assault

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information in relation to an assault which occurred outside the Jalou bar on Micklegate.

It happened in the early hours of Sunday 20 October 2019 at around 2am when a 19-year-old man suffered a fractured jaw.

The suspect is described as in his early 20s, around 6ft tall, short curly hair and was of muscular build.

The victim received hospital treatment for his injuries.

Officers are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or has any other information that could help identify the suspect to come forward.
