Appeal after teenager seen with knife in York

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about an incident that occurred on Lang Avenue in York.

It happened at about 5pm on Monday 11 May 2020, and involved a teenage girl, about 15 years old, with a long dark brown pony tail, wearing a rusty coloured bomber jacket and grey tracksuit bottoms.

It was reported that this teenager pulled out a knife after a verbal altercation with a woman. We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
