Appeal following a fire at The Lamb and Flag in Ripon.

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a fire that occurred at the Lamb and Flag pub on High Skelgate in Ripon.

It happened  at approximately 12.50am on Monday 2 March 2020.

It is still unclear how the fire has started but there were people in the vicinity at the time who might have information that could assist with the investigation.

We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
