Appeal after gate damaged in Scarborough

Police in Scarborough are appealing for witnesses and information after a gate was damaged.

It happened at an address on Prospect Mount Road between 5pm and 6pm on Sunday 17 December 2017.

An unknown man approached a house and ripped the gate of its hinges before making of in the direction of Scalby Road.

Officers are appealing for information about the suspect, who was wearing black trousers with a black hooded top. The hood was up to cover the offender’s face.
