Appeal following a single vehicle collision on A64 invoving a black Ford Mondeo

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and any dash-cam footage following a collision that occurred on A64 near West Heslerton.

The collision occurred at around 7.45am on Sunday 19 July 2020 and involved one vehicle, a black Ford Mondeo, which left the road near to West Heslerton.

We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, we are appealing to anyone who has any dash-cam footage taken in the area at the time.

A 21 year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence and using a motor vehicle on a road or public place without third party insurance.

He has been released under investigation whilst enquiries continue.
