Appeal following altercation in York

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about an altercation that occurred in central York.

It happened at the junction of Duncombe Place and St Leonard’s Place, York at approximately 6.55pm on Wednesday 18 April 2018 and involved three men and a woman. Three men have been arrested and bailed pending further enquiries.

Several members of the public were in the vicinity of the incident. We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, we are appealing for information about the actions of the people involved in the altercation and what, if anything, they said.
