Appeal following assault in Scarborough

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about an assault that occurred in Scarborough.

It happened on North Marine Road at approximately 7pm on Monday 11th July 2016 and involved a female aged 56 being assaulted by another female believed in her 30’s.

The victim has received both facial bruising and bruises to her leg.

We are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public’s assistance to help determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, we are appealing for information about any person(s) who had witnessed the incident.
