Appeal following an assault in Whitby

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about an assault that occurred on York Terrace, Whitby.

It happened on York Terrace at 8am on Saturday 13 June and involved an altercation between a man and a woman.

A member of the public intervened, resulting him being assaulted by the man.

We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
