Appeal following an assault on a driver in Stokesley

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about an altercation that took place on the A172 near Stokesley between two drivers.

At around 5.30pm on Tuesday 26th February 2019 an assault took place at the side of  the A172 Thirsk Roam, as you enter Stokesley.

The driver of a silver Vauxhall Vivaro was involved in a physical altercation with the driver of a Nissan Quashqai ,which left one of the men with head injuries.

Police are appealing to motorists who may have witnessed this incident, particularly motorists with dash cam footage, to contact them, so they can establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident
