Appeal following assault in Skipton

SKipton police are appealing for witnesses and information following an assault on a local man on Keighley Road Skipton at approximately 3 pm on Tuesday 16 August 2016.

The incident involved 2 men, one of whom was riding his pushbike into the town centre when a confrontation took place in the lead up to the assault.

The offender left on foot leaving the victim to make his way into the town centre seeking help .

As a result of the assault, the victim has suffered minor injuries to his face.

We are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
