Appeal following assault in Bilton, Harrogate

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about an assault that occurred in Bilton, Harrogate.

It happened on Crab Lane at approx. 7.30pm on Saturday 7 July 2018 and involved a man a woman fighting in the street.

Both parties were described as in their 30’s, with the man having blonde hair and the woman with long dark hair. Another man, in his 20s, stepped in to help the female and was assaulted by the blonde haired man.

The man received a minor injury to his eye and needed to seek hospital treatment.

Police are looking for any witnesses to the incident and are particularly looking to speak to a family who were walking on Crab Lane at the time of the incident and stopped to help the injured man.

We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
