Appeal following assault in Northallerton

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a an assault that occurred in The Applegarth Car Park, Northallerton.

It happened on the footpath near Applegarth Primary School around 8pm on Tuesday 20 April 2021 and involved a 15 year old teenager being assaulted by a group of youths. This resulted in the teenage boy sustaining minor injuries.

We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, we are appealing for information about any witnesses who may have seen an altercation involving a group of young people or any suspicious activity in the area.
