Appeal following assault in Scarborough

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about an assault in Scarborough.

It happened in the Queen Street/Granby Place area between 9.15pm and 9.30pm on Tuesday 26 June 2018.

A man in his twenties was assaulted by another man and sustained a cut to the back of his head. He was taken by ambulance to Scarborough Hospital where he was treated and discharged following treatment.

We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have any footage of the incident on cctv cameras or dashcams to contact them.
