North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about an assault that occurred in York on Friday 20 September 2019.

The assault took place on Chapelfields Road between 12.30-1.30pm on Friday 20 September 2019 and involved a man and a woman who had a pushchair with her.

We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident and are appealing for any witnesses to the incident to contact us.

Anyone with information tis asked to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 2, and ask to speak to Detective Constable Chris Stapleton.

A man has been arrested in connection with the incidenta and released on conditional bail.
