Appeal following assault in York City Centre

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about an assault that occurred in York City Centre at around 1am on Sunday 12 July 2020.

The incident happened in the area of Market Street and Coney Street and involved a man and woman having an altercation with another man.

During this altercation, it is alleged that the woman has been assaulted.

We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident. In particular, we are appealing for information about the men involved.
