Appeal following assault on A169

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a road rage incident on the A169 between Malton and Pickering.

It happened at about 1.40pm on 2 April 2019 on the A169 between Malton and Pickering and involved a large black vehicle and another vehicle. The drivers of both of the vehicles were involved in a confrontation and one man suffered a punch to the face, sustaining minor facial injuries.

We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, we are appealing for information about anyone who may have had dash cam working on this day and travelling along the A169 at the time of the alleged incident.
