Appeal following assault involving two girls in Falsgrave Park in Scarborough

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information relating an assault that took place in Falsgrave park in Scarborough shortly after 2pm on Sunday 1 July 2018.

The assault took place within a group of girls ages between 10 and 15 years old, but it is believed at least one adult may have witnessed the assault.

In particular we wish to speak to that witness who intervened. He is described only as a white male with a bald head, who was previously sat on a bench overlooking the play area.

Anyone who was in the park at the time, who may have seen the incident or who has any information that could assist the investigation is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 1 and speak to the Force Control Room quoting reference number 12180118019.
