Man identified following Art Gallery assault in York

The man who officers wanted to speak to following assault outside Art Gallery in York has been identified. Thank you to all who shared or responded to our appeal.

Police are appealing for help to identify the man in the CCTV images after a man was punched in York.

Officers want to speak to the man in the CCTV in connection with the incident, which happened at around 6.30pm on 16 November 2018. The victim was punched by another man in the back of the head outside the Art Galley near to St Leonards place in York.

 The victim suffered no visible injuries but has suffered neck and head pain since the incident.

 Anyone who recognises the man in the CCTV or who has any information is asked to contact police. Dial 101, press 2 and ask to speak to PC 348 Emily Clark or email Emily.clark@northyorkshire.pnn.police.uk
