Appeal following assault outside The Fleece Inn, Skipton

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about an assault that occurred in Skipton.

It happened outside The Fleece Inn on Keighley Road between 3am and 3:30am on Bank Holiday Monday 27 May.

A man was knocked unconscious and received injuries to his head. The attacker then flagged a taxi and made his escape.

In particular, we are appealing for any information about this attacker and the taxi he fled the scene in.

The injured man was taken by ambulance to hospital where he was treated and discharged following treatment.
