Appeal following attempt Theft from Motor Vehicle in Settle

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about an attempt Theft from Motor Vehicle that occurred in Settle.

The incident occurred on Whitefriars car park, Settle between 13.20 – 13.25hrs on Monday 15th of February 2016.

A male was witnessed trying the car door handles of an unattended blue Ford Kuga that had been parked in a disabled bay.

We are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public’s assistance to help determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, we are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen a suspicious male trying car door handles in the Whitefriars car park, Church Street, Settle.
