Appeal following attempted burglary and criminal damage in York
North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about an incident of criminal damage and attempted burglary that occurred on Clifton Green, York.
It happened in the garage yard, just off Clifton Green between 10pm on 15 of October 2017 and 7am on 16 October. Unknown offenders have tried to force entry into a number of privately rented garages, causing damage to the locks and doors.
We are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public’s assistance to help determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
We are appealing for information if anyone saw or heard anything suspicious around Clifton Green at the time of the incident.
