Appeal following burglary at Richmond public toilets

Police officers are appealing for witnesses and information about a burglary that occurred at the public toilets in the car park at Richmond waterfalls.

The burglary happened at around 2.40am on Tuesday 17 September 2019. The toilets were broken into, money was stolen from within and a significant amount of damage was caused.

We are asking for the public’s help to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, we are appealing for information about any people or vehicles sighted in the area around the time of the incident. We are also requesting contact from any properties along Millgate and Riverside Road that may have external CCTV covering the road. A vehicle, believed to be linked to this incident, has used this access route prior to the incident.
