Appeal Following a burglary at Bootham School in York

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a burglary at Bootham School in York.

The incident took place between 4.30am and 5.30am on Saturday 10 February 2018 and it is thought that someone has entered the the premises by smashing a door. They have gone on to cause damage throughout the building and and stolen a fire extinguisher.

We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, we are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time, who may have witnessed any suspicious activity, or anyone who has information which could assist the investigation to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 2, and ask for PC 1116 Amy Foster.
