Appeal following burglary in North Cowton

Police in Richmondshire are appealing for witnesses and information about a burglary that occurred in North Cowton, North Yorkshire

It happened at The Blacksmiths Arms public house between 1am and 7am on Saturday 26 August 2017.

Entry was forced to the premises, which is situated on Holywell Lane in North Cowton, and property was stolen from within.

We are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public’s assistance to help determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, we are appealing for information about any suspicious vehicles or people in this location around the time of the incident.
