Appeal following burglary of outbuildings near Sheriff Hutton

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information following a burglary that occurred at a farm with commercial outbuildings, near Sheriff Hutton and West Lilling.

The incident took place between 7pm on Friday 9 August 2019 and 8am on Saturday 10 August 2019 when several outbuildings on the site were broken into.

Two vehicles, a motorcycle, tools and equipment have been stolen, including a large amount of diesel. During the burglary, two dogs were attacked causing injuries which required treatment by a vet.

Officers are appealing for information which would assist their enquiries and are interested to speak to anyone who may of seen the vehicles stolen from the yard – a white Ford Transit panel van with the registration number  YA67 JFX , a white Ford Transit tipper van with the registration number  YG18 CBF and Yamaha Enduro Motorcycle with the registration YN55 LXC.
