Appeal following burglary in Scarborough

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a burglary that occurred in Scarborough.

It happened on Candler Street between 21:30 hours on Saturday 23rd May 2015 and 10:15 hours on Sunday 24th May 2015. A house has been entered and a handbag has been stolen which contained keys to a grey BMW 3 series. The vehicle was also stolen.

We are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public’s assistance to help determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, we are appealing for information relating to sightings of the vehicle on the evening in question and if neighbours in the surrounding area have seen or heard anything that may assist us with our enquiries.
