Appeal following burglary at the White Horse and Griffin in Whitby

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a commercial burglary that occurred in Whitby.

It happened on Church Street at 18:11 on 22nd May 2015 and involved a unknown male who entered The White Horse & Griffin Public House, the male has walked behind the bar and taken an amount of money. He has then left the premises in and unknown direction.

We are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public’s assistance to help determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, we are appealing for information about the identity of the male responsible.
