Appeal following collision in Skipton

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about an traffic collision that occurred in Skipton..

It happened at 4:25pm on Saturday 2 December 2017 on Shortbank Road, Skipton and involved a Ford S Max and a Citroen Saxo both from the Skipton area.

One man was arrested on suspicion of drug driving and has been released under investigation whilst enquiries continue.

We are appealing for witnesses to the collision or anyone who recalls seeing either of the vehicles prior to the collision, to get in touch as soon as possible to assist the investigation.

In particular, we are appealing for information of anyone who may have dashcam footage of the vehicles involved prior to the collision.
