Appeal following collision in York

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a road traffic collision on Tadcaster road in York.

It happened opposite the junction of Chalfonts at 9am on 11 January 2018 and involved a moped and a Black BMW 3 series estate. opposite the junction of Chalfonts.

Both vehicles were travelling out of the city towards York Collage. The moped collided with the rear of the BMW. Following the collision, there was an altercation between the driver and rider.

We are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public’s assistance to help determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

Witnesses are urged to come forward to the police.
