Appeal following Craven road traffic collision

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a minor injury collision that occurred on the B6265 between Skipton and Rylstone.

It happened just after 9.30am on Sunday 1 September and involved a Talbot Express Motorhome.

The driver was taken to Airedale hospital with minor injuries before being discharged and arrested on suspicion of drink driving. The driver has been released under investigation pending a blood specimen being analysed.

We are appealing for witnesses to the collision or anyone who recalls seeing the vehicle prior to the collision, to get in touch as soon as possible to assist the investigation.

In particular, we are appealing for information about a vehicle which was overtaking immediately prior to the collision towards Skipton or anyone with dashcam footage of the route at the time.
