Appeal following criminal damage in Scarborough

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about criminal damage in Scarborough.

It happened at AKO Kebab on St. Thomas Street, Scarborough at 1am on 1 January 2018 when a man damaged the entrance door to the premises after he was asked to leave by staff following an altercation.

The man is described as white, aged in his early to mid twenties with short brown hair. He was wearing a red checked shirt with light blue jeans at the time of the incident.

We are conducting enquiries and requesting the public’s assistance to help determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, we are appealing for any witnesses and anyone who can help identify the man to come forward.
