Appeal following disturbance in Bootham

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information after a disturbance occurred near St Peter's School in York.

The incident occurred around 10.30pm on Saturday 20 June 2020 and is believed to have taken place in an area  between the River Ouse and the rear of St Peter’s School in Bootham, York.

A number of individuals were involved in an altercation and officers are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, we are appealing for anyone who has mobile phone footage of the incident, who may have witnessed it or who has any other information which could help the investigation.

Anyone with information or mobile phone footage should call North Yorkshire Police on 101, quoting reference number 12200104444.
