Appeal following garage burglary in Skipton

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a garage burglary that occurred in Skipton.

The burglary took place at a property on Hayton Way, just off Granville Street, Skipton and occurred between 4.00pm on Friday 16 December and 8.00am on Monday 19 December.

The burglars  forced entry to the garage and stole a quantity of tools and plant equipment.

We are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public’s assistance to help determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, we are appealing for information in relation to a white Ford Transit van that was seen acting suspiciously in the area at around midday on Sunday 18 December.
